“Strong Helper”
Major Painting Tenure: 6+ months
Industry Experience: 12+ months

Expectations:

• Learning how to use an airless sprayer
• Can communicate to project manager the status of the project
• Strong soft skills and dependable
• Can complete small, fundamental painting projects by themselves
• Needs to have: Consistently runs small, standard painting jobs on time and budget with positive feedback from the client
• Posses the knowledge and skill to spray
• Has completed and certified in Aerial lift equipment as well as OSHA 10

To Graduate to Painter 4: 6+ Month Tenure, Aerial & OSHA 10 Certifications, (3) Sponsors, 30 Day Field Test, Leadership Review

“A Solid Hand”
Major Painting Tenure: 6+ months
Industry Experience: 6+ months

Expectations:

• Has potential, a good helper to a Master Painter
• Understands and is fluent in the following fundamentals: Pressure washing, caulking, priming, brushing, cut in, rolling, drywall patching
• Needs to have: understands Major Painting’s processes and techniques, fluent in all above fundamentals

To Graduate to Painter 3: (3) Sponsors, 90% on Processes/Applications/Equipment Test, Leadership Review

“Newbie”
Industry Experience: None

Expectations:

• Consistently shows up on time
• Gives good effort
• Willing to learn
• Is a team player
• Grasps basics of trade
• Needs to know: Interior/exterior painting processes, basic product knowledge, how to properly use tools, takes direction from superiors,
• Demonstrates basic fundamentals at productive pace: Cut in, roll, tape, plastic, caulk, etc.
